I am not wishing to change your mind about the
“meaning of life” ...

... What I wish for you is a “change of heart.”

There is some shocking news! Your heart is wishing to open communication with you. It may be time to listen to what it has to say.

In all honesty, is it important for you to know what your true path is, or where you fit in the big picture of things?

Why does everything have to be such a mystery anyway?

There has to be more to Life, right? In trying to understand the big question; what is the meaning of Life, we naturally turn to the mystics and the sages of old for the answers. What we are familiar with is the idea that to seek the sacred and to experience the essence of things we have to follow a path of remote otherworldliness, and bold inner athletics and on the other side of the coin obedience to an authority outside of ourselves. There seems to be a veil that separates the spiritual from the richness, and the intimacy, of what we experience in our own lives. I believe what is truly missing and what we must now come to realize is that to know the deeper knowledge about reality and the essence of wisdom and truth we must arrive at the understanding that the sacred is reflected in ourselves, as ourselves. If we were to acknowledge that the patterns and wholeness of our life is held within the connection we have with the larger wholeness of the sacred, everything would fall into perspective.

There is an energetic presence that is everywhere. It reaches from the heavens to the earth and from the bottoms of the feet to the tops of the soul, and as well outward into the world and deep within the wells of our being. I believe that all that is required to open to this connection with what I call the Universal Awareness is through following a more awakened approach. Mine is through simple acts: paying attention, being open, and participating in life by bringing a sense of calm, peace, and loving presence to every situation. In doing so our interaction with this presence becomes unconditional, universal, and intimately accessible in an inviting way, allowing finally an unlimited perspective to unfold in our life. What we then become aware of is the realness of this Life Force, and the inherent power that works with us and for us, only as it works as us.

The most intimate of relationships are forged between our self and the Infinite, as we come to rest in the knowledge of our place in the grand scheme of things. At that moment we remember who and what we truly are, we will learn once more how to make love to our life by finding deep joy in all that we do, see, and feel as we open our body and mind to a more inspired human experience. We will come to see our life as a sacred partnership in which there is a deep appreciation for the gifts that we bring into this world. We will once more be able to open our heart and soften our glance so that each time we look in the mirror an infinite beauty is reflected back to us that radiates outwards to encompass all that surrounds us.

What I have come to appreciate is that this answer to the meaning of life must be grounded in a deep understanding of the perfection that exists within everything, every moment, everywhere and in everyone one no matter what.

Within this perfection arises a vitality, energy, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all of time and space this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and it will be lost… It is not your business to determine how good it is nor how valuable nor how it compares with other expressions. It is your business to keep it yours clearly and directly, to keep the channel open. All that is required by us is to move in the direction that acknowledges our true being-ness, held within the awareness that every manifestation from the invisible to the visible is Infinite consciousness being that form or experience. So to remove any misconceptions and to fully realize what our life is truly about, is to realize that our relationship with the Infinite, and our relationship with our self, as with all else, are one and the same.

To now open ourselves to a clearer view, we will sadly realize that our lives in general are spent mostly serving our illusions, and all that we have been looking for sits right under our noses. In all that takes place in our lives, it is important to know that we can never be less than what we truly are. You are creations first and last chance to be you. Go ahead. Take a moment to glance at the ever-present patterns whirling and swirling at your fingertips. Divinely designed, unique to you, are a set of imprints, individual marks you will leave on the world. Each person's display is different - yet patterned by the same source. You were born to expand the Infinite nature of this universe. You are truly the only mystery you ever have to contend with. Understand this and you will understand everything.

Consider this:

How would you feel if you were asked:

  • Do not believe in an anything simply because you have heard it.
  • Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumoured by many.
  • Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious texts.
  • Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and leaders.
  • Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations.

But:

After observation and analysis, you find something that agrees with reason and is most importantly condusive to the good of one and all, could you then accept it and live up to it?

Does giving undivided attention to how someone else has chosen to express in the past or at present really fair to you and how the Infinite is expressing in you?

What makes their choices any more relevent? Would it be helpful to know that the Infinite honors all expressions equally, so to honor one expression over another is not honoring yourself?

“Your” truth lies not where you may have been looking.

What does your heart really want to tell you?

Deep within the centre of your everyday life lives the presence that animates your life. In becoming aware of who and what you are, you no longer live your life on the surface. You move inwardly to the richness of your soul and "real " life. When you enter into the living spirit of things, all of life becomes very interesting, and with deep satisfaction you give undivided attention to the life that you are expressing. The mystery of your life is no longer just that, but an adventure waiting to be discovered as you uncover the very reason behind your existance.
